The Flying Dutchman is usually spotted from afar, sometimes glowing with ghostly light. If she is hailed by another ship, her crew will often try to send messages to land, to people long since dead. A ghost ship, in fiction, is a ship crewed by the not-living. The term may also refer to a real ship that was reported to have been seen – often as an apparition – after sinking, or to a ship found floating with no crew members on board.By far the most famous fictional ghost ship is The Flying Dutchman. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
